Hello!
I am Evan Accettola (he/him) a dual Canadian/American citizen born in Texas and raised in rural Ontario. I am a citizen of the Métis Nation of Ontario and a descendent of the Dusome-Clermont family line. I am the current Chair of the Métis Nation of Ontario Youth Council and the Simon Fraser Society Indigenous Studies Student Union. I also sit on the Canadian Nurses Association Indigenous Relations Circle. I am studying to complete my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology (Honours) with minors in Criminology and Indigenous Studies at Simon Fraser University. I am also currently a Licensed/Registered Practical Nurse in British Columbia and Ontario. I hold a Diploma in Practical Nursing from George Brown College and Certificates in Health Studies, Aging & Gerontology and Indigenous Knowledges and Experiences from Toronto Metropolitan University. I am currently working on completing Certificates in Police Studies, Indigenous Studies Research, and Social Justice from Simon Fraser University as well as Emergency Management Threat and Response Planning from Toronto Metropolitan University.
